Gary Louis Young

Funeral services for Gary Louis Young, 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Young of Westside, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 from Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, with the Rev. John M. Ansorge in charge. Burial was at Westside and pallbearers were John Vetter, Ronald Peters, John Campbell, and Dale Kruse.

Gary Young was born July 2, 1946, at the Manning hospital and passed away here at 12:45 a.m. Sunday morning, May 27, 1951.

He is survived by his parents, a brother, Wayne, and a sister, Mary Kay; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Young of Brayton and Mrs. Minnie Vetter of Manning.


Services Held for Gary L. Young

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, for Gary Louis Young, son of Alice (Vetter) Young and Francis Young of Westside. Pastor John M. Ansorge, pastor, officiated.

Gary was baptized July 10, 1946, in the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Vetter of Manning, with Pastor F.C. Israel officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Vetter, uncle and aunt, of Inglewood, California, were his sponsors.

Death came to Gary at 12:45 a. m. Sunday morning, May 27, 1951.

Pallbearers were Richard Popp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Popp of Manning, John Vetter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Vetter of Manning, John Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Campbell, and Dale Kruse, son of Mrs. Dora Kruse of Westside. Burial was at Westside.

Those attending the services from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Young, Martha and Charles Young, Brayton; Mr. and Mrs. William Thies, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Thies, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lampman, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Neuman, and Mr. and Mrs. George Shlutz, Denison; Mr. and Mrs. Lester L. Peters, Harlan; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noelck, Kimballton; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Noelck, Ross; Mr. and Mrs. William Noelck and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Noelck, Gray, Mrs. Anna Noelck, Vernon and Violetta Noelck, Carroll; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Grundmeier and daughter, Halbur; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Reissen, Deloit, and many relatives and friends from Manning, Westside, Arcadia, and community.
