Gary Wiese was born in Manning, Iowa, March 25, 1946, on his mother's birthday. Passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife (Sherry) of 26 years. His mother Dorothy (Ruhde) Wiese, & brother Brad of Manning, Iowa. A brother Jack (Nancy) of Omaha, Nebraska. 2 daughters in the Midwest from a previous marriage to Patricia Clark: Alison Bauer and Erin Tesi. 2 stepsons David Hall (Debe) & Steve Hall. 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. A mother & father in-law (Bev & Bill Sjurson) of West Sacramento. A sister-in-law & brother in-law, a niece & nephew and lots of friends.

He worked for the City of West Sacramento for 23 years in the street dept. He was a dedicated Elk for 21 years.

A celebration of life will be August 23rd at 1:00 pm at the Elk Grove Elks Lodge, 9240 Survey Rd., Elk Grove. In lieu of flowers a donation in Gary's Honor to The Elks National Foundation or the Kaiser Hospice Program (3240 Arden Way, Sacramento, California 95825).
