An Old Resident of County Dead.
Mrs. John Meisel died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rose, southwest of town Thursday last at the age of seventy-four. Deceased was born in Saxony, her maiden name being Fredericka Stangl, and was married to John Meisel fifty years ago. They moved to this country in 1883, settling near Habur. Several years ago her husband died and she leaves a family of seven grown children to mourn her demise. The funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church in the Third ward yesterday morning at 10 o'clock and interment was in the cemetery. A large number of friends and neighbors, who held her in high esteem, were in attendance at the church and followed the remains to the cemetery.
