Funeral Services for Frederick E. Schultz Conducted at Manning
Funeral services for Frederick Edmund Schultz, 79, were held at the Manning Zion Lutheran Church Sunday April 29, 1946, at 2 p.m.

Burial was in the Manning Cemetery with the following acting as pallbearers: Emil Meggers, Ernest Kuhn, August David, Emil Kuhn, Albert David, and John Musfeldt.

Mr. Schultz passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Keat, April 26, 1946, after an illness of about seven years.

He was born March 26, 1867, at Staunton, Illinois, and was married February 11, 1899, to Mathilda Wenzel at Manilla. His wife and two infant children, Gertrude and Otto, preceded him in death.

He is survived by the following children, Victor Schultz, Lytton, Iowa; Edmund Schultz, Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Lillian Keat, Manning; Mrs. Lydia Finnegan, Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Ruth Stock, Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Viola Humphreys, Irwin, Iowa; Karl of the United States Navy, and Philip, also one brother, William, of Alton, Iowa.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Mr. Schultz followed his trade of plumbing and tinning in Manning for many years.

Those attending the funeral front a distance were: Mrs. Charles Wenzel, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wenzel, Ft. Dodge; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Huebner, Carroll; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schade, Glidden; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Smith, Jefferson; Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Wenzel, Westside, and. Mrs. S. Wenzel and Hienie of Manilla.
