FRED RENZE

Mass of the Christian burial for Fred Renze of Carroll will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 1998, at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll.
Mr. Renze, 93, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at Carroll Health Center.
The Rev. Allan Reicks and the Rev. Laurence Burns will officiate the Mass. Lectors will be Mary Glowacki and Sandy Kautzky. Gift bearers will be Linda Hackfort, Denise Schmitz and Joni Kienast.
Servers will be Jeff Henrich, Nathan Halbur and Aaron Kautzky.
Eucharistic ministers will be Sherry Henrich and Adeline Reicks.
Casket bearers will be Mike Mosman, Dave Mosman, John Hackfort, Joe Kautzky, Mark Siepker, and Jeff Siepker.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.
Friends will call after 2:30 and a rosary will be prayed at 3 Wednesday afternoon at Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. There will be a vigil service at 7:30 Wednesday night at the funeral home.

A son of Detrich and Johanna (Hannasch) Renze, he was born August 1, 1904, at Carroll and was educated at Templeton.
He and Frances Schieffer were married May 3, 1927, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Carroll.

Mr. Renze was a farmer in the Manning area and a member of St. Lawrence Church in Carroll.

Survivors include three daughters: Virginia Knobbe of Templeton, Marlene Siepker of Manning, and Joyce Schneider and her husband, Fred, of Bellevue, Nebraska; a son-in-law, O.A. "Bud" Mosman, of Carroll; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Mr. Renze was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Frances; a daughter, Donna Mosman; five brothers: Joe, Ben, Bill, Clem, and Louis Renze; two sisters: Lena Espenhover and Margaret Hoelscher; and two sons-in-law: R.J. Knobbe and Ray Siepker.
