Funeral services for Fred Mundt were held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. Father Norbert Weber MSC was in charge. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Fred Mundt was born March 13, 1886, near Denison, the son of Fred and Minnie (Homeier) Mundt. He attended rural schools near his home and was united in marriage with Bertha Gessmann on February 28, 1912. This union was blessed with two children. They lived in the Manilla area until 1944 when they moved to a farm one mile west of Manning. In 1956 they retired to Manning. Mrs. Mundt died February 13, 1976.

Mr. Mundt died March 2, 1976, at the Manning Plaza at the age of 89 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by 1 son, Delmar Mundt of Manning, 1 daughter, Mrs. Mark (Lorene) Enenbach, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and four sisters: Mrs. Ida Thomsen of Denison, Mrs. Hattie Steckelberg of Denison, Mrs. William (Martha) Steinkuehler of Denison, and Mrs. Gertrude Long of Omaha.
