Friedrich "Fred" Christian Wiese, 66, who moved six months ago from the Manning area to Arizona because of asthma, died Tuesday, February 16, 1965, at Wickenburg, Arizona, after a short illness.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, at the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning, conducted by the Rev. Carl Sinning, Presbyterian pastor. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery. The body will arrive at the Ohde Funeral Home Friday evening.
A son of Fred and Mathilda Wiese, Mr. Wiese was born in Audubon County, December 2, 1898. He is survived by 11 children and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Alma Grau of Moline, Illinois; Conrad Wiese of Council Bluffs; Herbert Wiese of Harlan; Henry Wiese of Audubon; Louis Wiese of Manilla; and Mrs. Anna Hargens and William Wiese, both of Manning.
His wife was Clara (Friedrichsen) Wiese, born October 24, 1897, and died December 1, 1978.
