Frank Wiese, Formerly in Business at Aspinwall; Passed Away June 1.

Mrs. D. Wiese received a telegram Tuesday morning announcing the death of her son, Frank, at Redlands, California, at 7 o'clock that morning. Mr. Wiese had been a sufferer with lung trouble for the past eleven years and while his health has been very poor during that time, he has been a very patient sufferer, always cheerful, never complaining, and by his good nature and accommodating ways he made many close friends in his California home as well as leaving many here to mourn his loss.

Frank A. Wiese was born in Davenport, Iowa, November 9, 1868, and came with his parents to Crawford County when he was five years old and settled near the Five Mile house, where he grew to young manhood. He was married to Miss Emma Lockner it November 1892, two children being born to them, one boy and one girl. He started in the general merchandise business at Aspinwall in 1892, and remained there until February 3, 1898, when he disposed of his interests and moved to Redlands, California, for his health where he remained until the time of his death. He was 41 years of age.

Besides his wife and two children he leaves to mourn his loss his mother, Mrs. D. Wiese, of this city, five brothers and three sisters, namely: Edward Wiese, Mrs. Joseph Lamp, Mrs. Henry Mueller, Mrs. Ed Farrell, and A.D. Wiese, of Manning; Adam Wiese, of Aspinwall; Dr. C.A. Wiese, of Lake City, and Rudolph Wiese, of Milo, California. His brother, Rudolph, and sister, Mrs. Henry Mueller, were with him at the time of his death.

The remains were laid to rest at Redlands, the funeral being held at 9:30 this morning.

Mr. Wiese was a member of Barber Camp No. 1771, M.W.A. Lodge, of this place, and the lodge very kindly telegraphed the Redlands lodge to furnish flowers for them, for which the relatives here are deeply grateful.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
