Frank Stoelk, 86, of Manning died at St. Anthony Regional Hospital Monday afternoon, November 29, 1976.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning, with the Rev. Joel Wright of the First Presbyterian Church of Manning officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Kruse, Lenus Borkowski, Glen Mahnke, Douglas Backhaus, Eugene Mahnke, and Larry Mahnke. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning.

Mr. Stoelk, son of Henry and Dora (Stuhr) Stoelk, was born on April 25, 1980, at Elwood, Clinton County, Iowa. When he was three weeks old he moved with his parents to Westside and attended schools near his home. He was united in marriage to Amanda Steen on December 16, 1919, at Manning. They farmed in the Manning community until retiring and moved to Manning in 1943.

Surviving are his wife; three brothers, Charles Stoelk of Austin, Minnesota, Albert Stoelk of Manning, and Lauren Stoelk of Lake View and one sister, Mrs. Ella Reimers of Manning.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Harry.
