Frank N. Miller, a glazier and for 16 years connected with the Heims Art Glass works as co-owner and later as owner, died at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 1945, in the Multonomah Hospital, Portland, Oregon, after a brief illness. He had been in Portland the past four months working in the Kaiser shipyards. Mr. Miller was 58 years of age and had resided in Davenport 57 years.
He was born in Manning, Iowa, January 13, 1887, and was educated in the Davenport schools. He was married to Magdalen Errthurn in Omaha on May 31, 1909.
Survivors include the wife; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Wainwright and Mrs. Eugene Petersen, both of Davenport; two sons, Lieutenant John F. Miller and Robert L. Miller, both in the navy; two brothers, William Miller, Denver, Colorado; and Robert Miller, Los Angeles, California; and three sisters, Mrs. Ann Carlsen, Davenport, Mrs. Clara Oppenhorst, and Mrs. Mattie Holst, both of Los Angeles, California. There are four grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces.
The body will be returned to Davenport and taken to the Runge Chapel, pending funeral arrangements. Burial was at Oakdale
