FRANK MAASMAN

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ohde Funeral Home here for Frank Maasman, 54, who died Saturday evening, July 23, 1955, at his home three miles south of Manning. The Rev. Frank Mease, minister of the Westside Presbyterian Church, will officiate. A mixed quartet will sing, accompanied by Bonita (Mrs. Henry W.) Hagedorn.

Burial will be in the Westside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Ahrendsen, Earl Barsby, Harry Puck, Walter Martens, Alfred Dammann, and Harry Fischer.

Mr. Maasman, son of Ernest and Amelia Maasman, was born August 26, 1899, at Westside.

He was married to Bertha Strunk February 11, 1925. They farmed in the Westside community until 1946, and then moved to Omaha, and two years later into their present home south of Manning.

Mr. Maasman is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Audrey) Kienast, Manning, son, Donald, Chattanooga, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Jim Hulsebus, Janeen and Danny Kienast, and Donald Maasman, Jr.; two brothers, Otto Maasman, Westside and Harry Maasman, Omaha, and three sisters, Mrs. Milford (Hattie) Nelson, Omaha, Mrs. Carl (Amelia) Oliver, Omaha, and Mrs. Carlyn (Mildred) Johnson, Long Beach, California.
