Mrs. Fred Renze Dies Saturday; Rites Wednesday
Mrs. Fred Renze of Manning, who was Miss Frances Schieffer before her marriage, succumbed to a lingering illness at the St. Anthony Hospital at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, November 18, 1944. She was 34 years old.

The body is resting at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning until the time of the rites, which are to be at 9:30 Wednesday morning at Sacred Heart Church in Manning. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery at Carroll.

To Pray Rosary
The rosary will be prayed at the funeral home at 8 o'clock this evening and Tuesday night.

Mrs. Renze, daughter of Peter Schieffer of Carroll and the late Mrs. Frances (Renner) Schieffer, was born at Menominee, Nebraska, April 16, 1910. She married Fred Renze May 3, 1927, at Ss. Peter and Paul's Church in Carroll. The family home is on a farm northwest of Manning.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Renze leaves four daughters, the oldest of whom is 16 years; Donna Mae, Virginia, Marlene, and Joyce, all at home.

She is also survived by her father, four brothers, and four sisters: Casimir, Breda; Richard and Vincent, Carroll; Alphonse, Coon Rapids; Mrs. Henry Clemens (Barbara), Elgin, Nebraska; Mrs. Fred Caspary (Agnes), Pontiac, Michigan; Mrs. Frank Stephensmeier (Regina), St. Louis, Missouri; and Miss Tresa Schieffer, Carroll, Iowa.

Her mother died April 21, 1931. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Martha, who passed away in 1916, and two brothers, who died in infancy.

Mrs. Renze was an active member of Sacred Heart Church, Manning, and the Christian Mothers Sodality of the parish. She also belonged to the Homemakers Club of Manning.

Her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Barbara Clemens, of Elgin, Nebraska, are coming tomorrow to attend the rites, a cousin, the Rev. Father Renner of Primrose, Nebraska, is also expected to be present.
