Mrs. Frances Reif Mrs. Frances Reif, 86, died Monday, March 27, 1978, at a Salem nursing home. Burial was in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Salem, South Dakota.

Frances A. Riesberg was born at Templeton, Iowa, in 1891, and was married to Harry Reif on February 10, 1914. She farmed with her husband until his death in 1955, when she moved into Salem.

Survivors include one son, Don, Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Schwarting, Harris, Iowa; and Mrs. Loretta Kirby, Salem; 12 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Reif, Templeton, Iowa, and Frank Eickman, Manning, Iowa.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Scripture service will be at 8 p.m. tonight at the Kinzley Funeral Home.
