She was united in marriage with Herbert Frank Molter on April 5, 1938, at Carroll, Iowa by Pastor A.O. Blecke. Florence was a homemaker and traveled with her husband who had Moeller's Accordion Band. They often played at the Five Mile House near Westside and numerous other places in the Midwest. They made their home in Waterloo, Iowa, for a number of years before moving to Sioux Falls in 1952. Mr. Molter preceded her in death on September 29, 1975. She later moved to Arizona to be near her children.

After having surgery, Florence failed rapidly and died on Saturday, January 13, 1996, at Chandler, Arizona.
