Mrs. E.D. Sutherland
died suddenly in Omaha hospital
Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Sutherland, 63, were held Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock from Ohde Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl G. Sinning of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Ray Pratt was soloist for the service and Mrs. H W. Hagedorn, organist.
Burial was in the Manning cemetery. Lyle Arp, Harry Hinz, Alfred Kuhl, Leo Bruck, L.D. Wiese and Harry Hoffmann were pallbearers.
Daughter of Justyn E. and Mattie (Stornfeltz) Fuller, she was born on January 18, 1897, in Princeton, Missouri. She graduated from the State University of Iowa
and was a teacher in the Manning schools until her marriage to Ernest Dee Sutherland on August 24, 1926.
She died suddenly at Clarkson hospital, Omaha, on Saturday morning, July 23, where she was a patient for one day.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Donnan (Justyn) Harding, Jr., Rochester, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Ann and James Harding; her son-in-law; two brothers, Robert P. Fuller and J. Hubert Fuller, Princeton, Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. T.M. Whiteman, Rehobath Beach, Maryland; and Mrs. Laurance M. Hyde, Jefferson City, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mrs. Ira B. Hyde, Princeton, Missouri.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church, PEO and many other civic organizations.
