Obituary.
Ferdinand Ranniger died Tuesday October 7, at his home west of Manning and was buried Thursday October 9, in the Manning Cemetery. Rev. Martens conducted the funeral services. He was 87 years of age, was born in Clamp, Germany, and came to America thirty years ago. Three children survive him, Louise in Germany, and Johann and Wilhelm here.

A large number of friends and neighbors, all of whom held the deceased in high esteem, followed the remains to their last resting place.
