Funeral Rites Will Be Held at Oathout's Friday

The Rev. Famy B. Mills died (1944) at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, the Rev. and Mrs. E. Claude Smith, 270 Highland Drive, at 7 a. m. today after an illness of several years.

She was born at Manning, Iowa, in 1881, the daughter of John N. and Anne (Lee) Mills.

She was graduated from the Moody Bible institute of Chicago and entered missionary work in New Mexico for five years.

She then entered the ministry and for 15 years was minister of the Presbyterian Church at Wolsey, South Dakota. She resigned her pastorate three years ago because of ill health. She has since made her home in Iowa City.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Smith, and one brother, William Mills of Carroll, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at the Oathout Funeral Chapel at 2 a.m. Friday.

He was buried at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City.
