MRS. EMMA WYCOFF
Mrs. Emma Wycoff, 82, of Manning died Tuesday morning, October 26, 1971, at the Manning Plaza nursing home following a two-year illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church here, with burial in the Manning Cemetery. Pastor Edward F. Heinicke will officiate. Arrangements are in charge of the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning.

Mrs. Wycoff was born February 26, 1889, at Atlantic, a daughter of Fred and Pauline (Tessman) Kuhn. At the age of five years she moved with her family to a farm south of Manning, and attended rural school. She married Stephen Wycoff in 1907, and they farmed south of Manning until retiring and moving into town in 1935. Following her husband's death in 1936, Mrs. Wycoff lived with her sister, Minnie Kuhn, in Manning. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Society of the church.

Survivors include a son, Raymond, of Manning; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Emil Kuhn, Manning; and two sisters, Minnie Kuhn, Manning, and Mrs. Elsie Koehrsen, Walnut.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Wycoff was preceded in death by a daughter, Mildred, in 1934; three brothers and three sisters.
