MRS. EMMA SCHELLDORF Funeral rites for Mrs. Emma Schelldorf, 93, former resident, were held at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning on Monday afternoon, August 3, with Rev. Carl Sinning of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Daughter of Frederich and Louisa (Lange) Dau, she was born April 12, 1871, in DeWitt, Iowa. She married George P. Schelldorf September 1, 1893.

The family lived in Manning for many years. For the past six years, Mrs. Schelldorf had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ted Rix, in Longmont, Colorado. She died there on Friday evening, July 31, 1964.

She is survived by three children: Louis Schelldorf, Manning; Herbert Schelldorf, Daytona Beach, Florida; Mrs. Ted (Florence) Rix, Longmont, Colorado; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Miss Anna Dau, Long Beach, California.

She was preceded by her husband, August 5, 1937; a daughter, Mrs. William (Milda) Rath in 1954, her parents, a brother, George Dau, two brothers and one sister in infancy, and a sister, Mrs. Amanda Huston, in 1954.
