Dies In Hospital at Carroll, Sunday (1926).

With sadness and sorrow in our hearts, we are called upon to report the death of a beloved wife, mother and neighbor. In the prime of her life she is taken from those who depended upon her for motherly advice and sharing the burdens of life with her devoted husband; she leaves a vacant place in the home which she brightened with her smiles all these years. Now she sleeps beneath the mossy green in our silent city. Such is the will of our Master, who has the power to give and take, to create happiness and sorrow as He deems best for His children.

May God lighten the burden of sorrow of those who feel this great loss, and may He open the portals of heaven for the departed soul.

Emma Carolina Puck nee Kruse, was born May 1st, 1887, in Hayes Township, Crawford County, Iowa. In 1910 she was married to Mr. Albert Puck, to which union one son was born, who deeply mourns the death of his beloved mother.
