Young Mother Called
Mrs. H.P. Moeller of Manning Died May 22nd

Emma Helene Moeller, nee Hagedorn, was born on the 9th day of February 1887, near Ploen, Holstein, Germany. At the age of 1 1/2 years, she came to America with her parents, Louie and Mary Hagedorn, and settled near Manning. Here she grew to young womanhood and was married on the 20th day of March 1905, to Henry Peter Moeller.

To them were born five children: Loretta, Marlowe, Elvin, Viola, and Cordella. For six years after their marriage, they lived near Manning, then moved to Springfield, Minnesota, where they lived for ten years, until their return to Manning this spring.

She was confirmed in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Springfield, Minnesota, by Rev. Westerkamp, June 3, 1917, and sought the comfort and help of the Almighty God for herself and children.

She leaves to mourn besides her husband and children, a sister, Mrs. Minnie Lohrmann of Manning, and four half-sisters, Mrs. Frieda Wenzel of Manilla, Mrs. Hilda Wunder of Manning, Mrs. Anna Johnson of Flandreau, South Dakota, two half-brothers, Frank and Carl Tollgaard of Flandreau and her mother.

She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, and a consistent friend.

May 22, 1921, after a short sickness, she passed away, aged 34 years and 3 months, and is now, we trust, at rest.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Meredith at the Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon, and the interment was in Hayes Township Cemetery.

Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. Louie Tollgaard of Flandreau, South Dakota; Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rix, and Mrs. Otto Kroeger, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Miller, Mrs. Peter Moeller and daughter, Florence, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rositzka, Mrs. Gus Lage and Mr. Wingelman, all of Springfield, Minnesota; and Mrs. Mary Georgius and children of Arcadia.
