MRS. EDWARD STAMMER
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Edward Stammer, Huron, South Dakota, formerly of Westside, on Sunday morning, March 24, 1963. She had been in ill health for a number of years, and bedfast for the past six weeks.

Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Huron.

Mrs. Stammer, 80, was the former Emilia Anthony, daughter of Claus and Anna (Jahn) Anthony of Westside. She married Edward Stammer on March 22, 1905, and they farmed south of here for a number of years before going to Egan, South Dakota.

In the early 1940s, Mr. and Mrs. Stammer retired from farming and moved into Huron. They observed their 58th wedding anniversary March 22. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Wilson (Elnora) Jelgerhuis and Mrs. Fred (Leona) Kruger, Huron; one granddaughter, the former Barbara Kruger; one sister, Mrs. John Ostermeyer, Westside; and three brothers, Herman, Henry, and Bill Anthony, all of Manning.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Ralph Kruger; and two sisters, Paulene and Ernestine.
