Funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ohde Funeral Home here with Pastor George Eschenbacher, of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.
Mrs. Stoelk was a "Gold Star Mother" of the Manning unit, American Legion Auxiliary.
She was born Elsie Klindt, daughter of Hans and Anna (Jensen) Klindt, September 25, 1901, at Manning. She attended school in Manning.
Her marriage took place August 20, 1919, at Carroll.
Mr. and Mrs. Stoelk were the parents of nine children, one son, Leon, died in action in World War II, July 22, 1943. Three children died in infancy.
Mrs. Stoelk is survived by her husband and five children; Merle Stoelk, Manning; Mrs. Otto (Darlene) Porsch, Manning; Mrs. Elvin (Jaenice) Popp, Manning; Mrs. Orrie (Berdine) Herbers, Norfolk, Nebraska; and Donald Stoelk, Madrid.
She also leaves 12 grandchildren; one brother, Harry Klindt, Sun Valley, California; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Paulsen, Manning; and Mrs. George (Emma) Becker, Brownsdale, Minnesota.
