MRS. ELSIE MOORE
Mrs. Elsie Moore, 77, of Manning died early Thursday, March 14, 1974, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, where she was a patient for two weeks.

Rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ohde Funeral Home here, with burial in Manning Cemetery. The Rev. Joel Wright will officiate. Visitation started at Ohde Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Moore was a daughter of Charles and Nellie Mae (Holmes) Vandeman. She was born July 16, 1896, near Botna and attended schools in that area. Her marriage to Wilford Dale Moore took place in 1921 and they farmed south of Botna. Following his death in August, 1940, she remained on the farm until entering the hospital. She was baptized in the United Brethren Church at Botna.

Mrs. Moore is survived by a son, Gale of Manning; a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Beatrice Joy) Doyle of Westside; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two nieces, Mrs. Paul Gustin of Omaha and Virginia (Mrs. Harold) Nickum of Glenwood.

Two grandchildren, Gregory and Christi Moore, and a brother, Murrell Vandeman, preceded her in death.
