Funeral services for Ellen (Socwell) Ramsey, 76, of Botna were conducted in the Ohde Funeral home Monday. Rev. A.D. Steffensen of the Methodist Church was in charge.

Ellen was born September 26, 1859, in La Prairie, Illinois, and died April 24, 1936, in Shelby County, Iowa, with burial in the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Ramsey is survived by two children, Charles, Jr., of Botna and Mrs. Warren Ewoldt of Harlan. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Campbell, T. Grey, Robert Campbell, Albert Olson, Marion McConnell, and Charles Vanderman.
