Mr. Wycoff died in his home at Botna, Wednesday morning, December 18, 1957. He had been an invalid confined to a wheel chair for several years.
He was the son of Carlos Cushman and Virginia (Slygh) Wycoff and was born at Elmwood, Illinois, October 21, 1871, moving to Botna, in 1891.
On June 28, 1899, he was married at Harlan to Bessie Mae Spickler who survives. He farmed near Botna until 1931 when the family moved to town.
Other survivors are a son, Gordon, of Manning; three daughters, Mrs. Milford (Virginia) McConnell of Botna, Mrs. Charles (Gladys) Ramsey of Botna, and Mrs. Norine Schwenck of Manning; a sister, Mrs. Pete Stoker of Milford; seven grandchildren, two of whom are in service; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wycoff was preceded in death by his parents; twin children; a sister, Ellen Gordon,
and three brothers, Stephen, John, and Lenard D. Wycoff.
