Funeral services for 48 year old Eileen (Ostebee) Sporrer of Easley, South Carolina will be held Friday, December 9 at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church near Audubon, Iowa with burial at Manning Cemetery in Manning, Iowa. The Ohde Funeral Home in Manning is in charge of arrangements where friends may call from 5-7 on Thursday, December 8. A Prayer service will be held at 7:00 at Ohde Funeral Home.

Eileen died Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Greenville, South Carolina.

Survivors include: Husband: Ron Sporrer of Easley, South Carolina; daughter: Lindsey Sporrer of Clemson University; son: Kyle Sporrer of Easley, South Carolina; brother: Merlene Ostebee of Audubon; and mother: Viola (Asmus) Ostebee of Audubon.

Eileen (Ostebee) Sporrer, 48, of Easley, South Carolina, formerly Sullivan, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior at 2:00 a.m. Sunday (December 4, 2005) at St. Frances Hospital, Greenville, South Carolina.

Memorial prayer services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Faith Lutheran Church, Sullivan with Pastor Paul McGhghy officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 -10:00 a.m.

Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Manning City Cemetery, Manning, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to the Relocation Fund of Trinity Lutheran Church c/o 1523 155 Lane, Audubon, Iowa 50025. Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan is assisting the family with arrangements.

Eileen was born November 11, 1957 in Audubon, Iowa the daughter of Magnus and Viola (Asmus) Ostebee. She was a self-employed massage therapist, a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church where she sang in the church choir and belonged to the Adult Bible Study Class. She was also a member of One Voice, a Christian singing group in Sullivan.

Eileen was a devoted mother and loving wife. She loved animals, as well as raised and trained AQHA champion quarter horses. Eileen was an Audubon County Fair Queen, a member of 4-H, and was the first female member of FFA in the State of Iowa. She married Ron Sporrer on April 21, 1979 in Audubon, Iowa.

Surviving is her mother, Viola of Audubon, Iowa; husband Ron Sporrer of Easley, South Carolina; son, Kyle Sporrer at home; daughter, Lindsey Sporrer of Clemson University; brother, Merlene Ostebee and his wife Joyce of Audubon, Iowa, and many other relatives and friends.

Eileen was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Eugene Ostebee.

Service Schedule: Mon. Dec 5, 6 - 7 p.m. visitation at the Robinson Funeral Home in Powdersville South Carolina followed by a Memorial service at 7 p.m.

Wednesday December 7, 9 - 10 a.m. visitation at Faith Lutheran Church in Sullivan IL followed by a Memorial service at 10 a.m. Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan assisting.

Thursday December 8, 5 - 7 p.m. visitation at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning IA followed by a Memorial service at 7 p.m.

Friday December 9, 10:30 a.m. Funeral at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Audubon with burial at the Manning City Cemetery.
