EDWIN WEGNER
Funeral services for Edwin "Brownie" Wegner, 52, who died unexpectedly on his way to the hospital Wednesday night, will be held in the Ohde Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. F.C. Volske of the Manila Presbyterian Church officiating.

The Manning Presbyterian Quartet will sing with Bonita (Mrs. Herman W.) Hagedorn accompanying. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery. Pallbearers will be W.D. Miller, Eugene McCollum, Kenneth Pfannkuch, Dennis Drees, Charles Nissen, and Joe Sonksen, all of Manning.

Mr. Wegner was born in Crawford County, September 10, 1906. He attended schools in Iowa Township, Aspinwall, and Manning, living at home with his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Wegner until his marriage to Lolida Schroeder at Denison, October 7, 1925. He farmed in the Manning community all of his life, the last 13 years on a farm one mile west and one mile south of Manning.

He is survived by his mother Mrs. Bertha Wegner of Manning; his wife and three sons Duane of Manning, Robert at home, and Allen, a lieutenant, in the Air Force at Roswell, New Mexico; four grandchildren; and two brothers Carl of Pierce, Idaho; and George of Manning. His father died in 1953.
