Edward Wulf, 68, a retired and longtime employee of Iowa Public Service Company, died at Sacred Heart Hospital Saturday, May 7, 1966, after several month's illness.
Ed, as he was known, was born March 2, 1898, in Audubon County near Manning, the son of Ferdinand and Elizabeth (Boldt) Wulf. He spent most of his life in Plymouth county and Le Mars and was an employee of IPS for 33 years.
On March 26, 1924, he was married to Alma Engelbrecht at Remsen. He was a member of Calvary Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Church with Rev. Harold Varce officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Le Mars, under direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be IPS employees.
Surviving are his wife, Alma; two daughters, Mrs. Harm (Norma) Lubben of Sioux Falls and Mrs. Jim (Joan) Roepke of Le Mars; a sister, Mrs. Clara Paape, Dodge Center, Minnesota; and six grandchildren, Mary Hite, Amanda, Joel and Ann Lubben and Nancy and Steven Roepke.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers and two sisters.
