Manning Monitor
Edward Signall Sr., received the sad intelligence last Sunday that his son Edward, who has been living at Breckenridge, Colorado, for the past two years, was dead. No particulars were received at the time as to the cause of death and the parents and other relatives were kept in painful suspense until the arrival of the remains, which had been ordered shipped home, and arrived this morning over the Northwestern railroad. A letter sent from friends of the young man states that death was caused from inflammation of the bowels. He was twenty-two years old and had made a good start in a financial way, being a part owner in a mine. His parents are nearly prostrated by the sad blow. The funeral occurred from the Catholic Church this forenoon. On behalf of the citizens of the surrounding country the MONITOR extends to the parents and other relatives the heartfelt sympathies of all in the affliction that has come so suddenly and turned the happy home into a house of mourning.
