EDGAR JOHN OCHSNER
Edgar John Ochsner, 67, Manning, died unexpectedly in his home Thursday, December 27, 1973. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning, with the Rev. Don Griffin of the United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Manning Cemetery. Organist will be Beverly Mitchell.

Mr. Ochsner was born April 27, 1946, at Berwyn, Nebraska. He graduated from Sutton High School in Nebraska. Later, he played with the Sternberg orchestra in 1941; he moved to Manning and played with the Pete Kuhl orchestra. After the orchestra disbanded, Mr. Oschsner worked for M.J.M. in Manning until his retirement a couple of years ago.

He is survived by his wife Helen of the Manning Plaza; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Beverly) Bopp, Lincoln, Nebraska; and Mrs. Carl (Sharon) Hoepner, La Crescenta, California; five grandchildren; and four sisters.

Edgar was preceded in death by his first wife, Bessie Marguaritte (Fuller) Kuhl Schsner McDaniel (Bessie's 2nd husband was Robert Kuhl).

Edgar was born in Fillmore County, Nebraska, April 27, 1906.
