EARL H. PARISH
Earl Henry Parish, 71, of Manning, died at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll early Monday afternoon, March 11, 1957. He had been admitted to the hospital March 1.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ohde Funeral Home here. The Rev. John A. Lippincott of the Methodist Church will officiate.

With the exception of 11 or 12 years, Mr. Parish was a lifelong resident of Manning, where he was born October 20, 1885.

For a longtime he had a harness and shoe repair shop here at 403 Main Stret. Later, he operated a popcorn stand for a few years.

Mr. Parish was a son of Henry and Emma (Cooley) Parish. He was married to Elizabeth Kleemeier November 24, 1913, in Omaha.

Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Arlene) Wyatt, Lakewood, California; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Rasgorshek, Omaha; and Mrs. Pearl Parkhouse, Traer, Iowa; and two brothers, George Parish, Manning, and Campbell Parish, La Mesa, California.

Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt are here now, having arrived last week, because of Mr. Parish's serious illness.
