Dorothea "Dora" (Carstens) Peters Mrs. Dora Peters, who has been ill at an Omaha hospital for the past several weeks, died last Thursday morning. The body was brought here and laid to rest in the Nishnabotna Cemetery. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian Church Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Peters was a good woman and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She leaves a family of 5 children all grown but two, Edward and Loretta.

Daughter of Jurgen and Margaretha "Gretje" (Gehlsen) Carstens, she was born December 6, 1870, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany and died January 26, 1922, with burial in the Nishnabotna Cemetery in Crawford County.

She was married to John F. Peters.
