The Rite of Christian Burial for Darwin Rohe was held Tuesday, August 10, 1982, 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Manning. Celebrant was the Reverend Father Walter Bruch, substituting for Msgr. Dean Walker. Music was by Sacred Heart Choir. Lector was Thomas Rohe. Gift bearers were Todd and Nate Rohe. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Templeton with Duane Rohe, Mike Rohe, John Rohe, Steve Irlbeck, Gary Venteicher and Jim Venteicher as casketbearers.

Rosaries were prayed Monday, August 9, 1982 at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning at 3:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m. by the C.Y.O, followed at 8:00 by the Parish.

Darwin Felix, son of Glenn A. and Mildred J. Venteicher Rohe, was born August 4, 1965, at Manning. He was a member of the class of 1984 and would have been a Junior this coming school year. He worked part-time for his brother, Dave, at Rohe's "66" Service in Manning. He was a member of the C.Y.O. and a past member of the 4-H. He died instantly as a result of an auto accident on August 7, 1982, near Manning, at the age of 17 years and 3 days.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1967, by his paternal grandfather, Walter Rohe, and by his maternal grandparents, Herman and Katherine Venteicher.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred, and by the following brothers: Dennis, and his wife, Jolene, of Terrell, Texas, David, and his wife, Kathy of Manning, Donald, and his wife, Sandra, of Council Bluffs, Dale, and his wife, Diane, of Terrell, Texas, Douglas, and his wife, Suzanne, of Bellevue, Nebraska, Daniel of Woodland, California, and Dean of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by 7 nephews, 3 nieces, his grandmother, Mrs. Ella Rohe, Templeton, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
