Dan grew up in Manning, Iowa, graduating with the class of 1974. He spent the past 43 years living and working in the oilfield in Gillette, Wyoming, and recently living in Spearfish.

He is survived by sister, Maureen (Ron) Halbur; and brother, Gary Williams of Manning, Iowa; sister, Carol (Rick) Jahn of Gillette; and niece, Amy (Jason) Croghan and Katelyn and Logan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Esther (Anstoeter) Williams; and brother, Joseph in infancy; and brother Dale Williams.

A private family burial service will take place at a later date.
