Funeral services for Dan Nellis, 71, former Manning resident, were held at Early Tuesday, January 11, 1955. Mr. Nellis had been a grocer at Early for many years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Laura Summerville of Manning; two sons, Bob and Ray Nellis, Early; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Hanke, Atlantic; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Joe Martin, Botna; and a brother, Fred Nellis, Des Moines.

Manning relatives attending the rites were Mr. and Mrs. Will Summerville, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Spies, and Mrs. Darrell Bales.
