MOELLER, Dale Pete, 67, of Des Moines, Iowa, formerly of rural Leon, Iowa, died on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family. Arrangements are through Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale, Iowa.

Dale Pete Moeller, 67, passed away on November 18, 2017, at home surrounded by his family.

Dale's passion in life was raising cattle. He spent over 50 years of his life working with and showing cattle at the state and national level. He was active showing livestock at the Iowa State Fair and was a member of the Iowa Cattleman's Association. Later in life Dale enjoyed woodworking.

Dale is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughters, Teri (Chris) Shanahan, Robin Moeller and Shelly (Ted) Nellesen; mother, Rita Williamson; brother, Dean (Diana) Moeller; grandchildren, Calvin, Jack, Liam, and Ben Shanahan, and Gabriel and Graham Nellesen. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Moeller.

Dale was born July 25, 1950, and graduated from Manning High School in 1969.
