CLEVE SCHROEDER

Funeral services for Cleve Schroeder, 79, Manning, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Ohde Funeral Home here, with burial in the Manning Cemetery. The Rev. Edna Whitson, pastor of the Gray Methodist Church, will officiate.

Mr. Schroeder died Tuesday morning, May 19, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll, where he was taken Friday.

He was born December 13, 1884, near Gray, a son of Jurgen F. and Mary (Schluntz) Schroeder. He attended rural and grade schools. He farmed in Lincoln Township, near Gray, until about two years ago, when he retired because of his health and came to Manning to live with his sisters, Mrs. Greta Carstens and Mrs. Fredericka Ohrt.

Surviving are his brothers and sisters, Pete Schroeder, Audubon County; Mrs. Anna Cole, Ogden, Utah; Mrs. Carstens, Mrs. Ohrt, and Mrs. Amos W. (Elsie) Carlile, Manning; Mrs. Fred (Dora) Sievers, Audubon; Mrs. Rose Hazzard, Sacramento, California; and Bismarck W. Schroeder, Hawthorne, Nevada.
