Word has been received of the death of Claudina W. Staub, 87, of O'Neill, Nebraska. Claudina passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held June 5, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Biglins Mortuary in O'Neill.

She was the daughter of Herman and Efrieda Struve.

She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Staub and brothers, Max and Gerald Struve.

She is survived by her son Howard and wife Totsie of Deming, New Mexico; sister Eldora Peterson of Harlan, Iowa and sister-in-law Mildred Struve of Poysippi, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Claudina Staub, age 87, of O'Neill, will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill, with burial in the O'Neill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-9 P.M. at the mortuary. Claudina passed away Thursday afternoon at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk. She is survived by one son, Howard Staub and wife Totsie of Deming, New Mexico, one sister, Eldora Peterson of Harlan, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews. Claudina was born October 29, 1919, at Manning, Iowa, to Herman and Elfrieda (Seivers) Struve. She graduated from Manning High School in 1938. She married Everett Staub on April 1, 1940, at Harlan, Iowa, and he passed away May 2, 1977. She was a member of the O'Neill V.F.W. Auxiliary. Claudina is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two step-children and two brothers. Rev. Jim Loutzenhiser, Jr. is officiating.
