Word has been received here of the death January 4, 1961, of Mrs. Hugo Jans, Long Beach, California, formerly of Manning.
Mrs. Jans was the former Clara (Kusel) Tate. She had been ill the past two years.
She is survived by her husband, and two sisters: Mrs. Ida Zender, San Diego, and Mrs. Blair Jarvis, Long Beach.

Note: Clara's first husband was Martin Luther Tate.
Clara had no children with either husband.
