Christian W.P. Mohr
Funeral Service for 89 year-old Christian (Chris) W.P. Mohr, of Council Bluffs, Iowa was held Wednesday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Reverend Don Levenhagen, Interim Pastor officiated. Interment was held at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
Christian, son of Christian D. and Marie Mohr was born October 20, 1913 in Aspinwall, Iowa. He was a carpenter for Allied Mills Company for 27 years and Lewis Central Schools for 3 years retiring in 1978. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was a resident of Council Bluff, Iowa since 1948 and a previous resident of Manning, Iowa.
He died September 6, 2003, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Christian is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lillian (Schutt) Mohr, of Council Bluffs; daughter: Barbara Mohr, of Council Bluffs; sons Jeffrey of Des Moines, Iowa; David and wife Judy of Mantino, Illinois; and Michael and wife Patty of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren: Megan and Erin Mohr; and Andrew and Patrick Mohr.
