CHARLES E. WILLESEN
Final rites for Charles E. Willesen, 71, of San Antonio, Texas, were held there Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Mialic Levy officiating with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.

He was born May 4, 1900, to Rasmus and Mettie (Hansen) Willesen southwest of Audubon, and passed away June 8, 1971.

He attended the Audubon Schools, graduating with the class of 1921. He then attended Iowa State College at Ames, graduating in 1925.

He worked at Morton Salt Company for some 20 years and later at Randolph Air Base for nearly 25 years. He recently retired from civil service.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; two sons, Milton and Glen, and a daughter, Janine, all of Hutchinson, Kansas; a brother, Edwin of Manning; and two nieces.

Attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Willesen and Mr. Amos Asmus of Audubon, and Mrs. Dennis Grimm of Manning.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of Milton and Glen, Leona (Ahrendsen) Willesen, who is buried at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kansas.
