CHARLES THIEDEMAN

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church here for Charles Thiedeman, 74, of Manning, who died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday February 19, 1956, at St. Anthony Hospital Carroll. Pastor George B. Eschenbacher, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

The body is resting at the Ohde Funeral Home here until the time of the rites.

Mr. Thiedeman, son of Claus and Margaret Thiedeman, was born December 2, 1881, in Hayes Township, Crawford County, Iowa. He was married to Julia Vinke January 14, 1914.

Mr. and Mrs. Thiedeman lived on a farm northwest of Manning until 1939 when they moved into Manning.

Besides his wife, Mr. Thiedeman is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Myles (Vernetta) Dau, Westside, and Mrs. Marvin (Leona) Kuhl, Manilla; five grandchildren; one brother, Louis Thiedeman, Westside; and one sister, Mrs. Dora Hagge, Mitchell, South Dakota.

Mr. Thiedeman was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Hagge and Mrs. Ella Bornhoft, and one brother, Julius Thiedeman.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Mr. Thiedeman was taken to St. Anthony Hospital Saturday evening, suffering from an attack of influenza.
