CARRIE MARIA STANG
Carrie Maria Stang, 76, of Manning died Saturday noon at Manning General Hospital where she had, been a patient for two months.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Zion Lutheran Church here with Pastor George B. Eschenbacher officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Miss Stang was a daughter of the late Adam William and Augusta (Nieland) Stang and was born in Washington Township, Carroll County, October 20, 1882. She attended school in Washington Township and lived on a farm with her parents until 1921 when they moved to Manning. Since her parents' death she had made her home with her sisters.

In 1943, she went to Overland Park, Kansas, but returned to Manning in 1954 and has lived since then with her sister Mrs. Emil Kuhn.

Besides her parents, Miss Stang was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. She leaves one brother William Stang of Gilmore City and three sisters, Mrs. Kuhn (Margaret), Mrs. Eldo Hirni (Lydia), Three Rivers, California, and Mrs. Claude Farrant (Florence), Overland Park, Kansas.
