Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ, Westside, with the Rev. John McGee officiating.

Burial was in Westside Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews, including Orville Thiedeman, Melvin Hagge, Donald Bornhoft, Vernon Anthony, Marvin Kuhl, and Myles Dau. Arrangements were in charge of the Ohde Funeral Home.

Caroline was born March 20, 1883, in Washington Township, Carroll County, a daughter of Timothy and Catherine (Heinrichs) Anthony. She attended rural school near her home.

On March 9, 1904, she was married to Mr. Thiedeman at Denison, with the Rev. Mr. Frese officiating. The couple farmed five miles south of Westside until retiring and moving into Westside in 1932. Mrs. Thiedeman was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Westside for many years.

She also belonged to the Church of Christ and the Ladies Aid Society of the church.

Surviving with her husband, Louie; are a son, Irwin, of Westside; a daughter, Lydia, at home; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a six years old son, Horace; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mundt and Mrs. Anna Hagge; and a brother, John Anthony.
