Carl B. Resner - Dies in Ronan
Carl Bernard Resner, 71, Ronan, died Wednesday evening, November 18, 1964, in the local hospital following an extended illness.

Mr. Resner was born November 20, 1892, along with his twin brother, Roy, in Iowa City, Iowa.

He came with his parents to the Flathead Valley, Ronan, Montana, where they homesteaded near the Crow Creek Reservoir west of here in 1910, after living in Manning, Iowa, since 1895. Carl attended Manning Schools with his three brothers.
After his father, the late Dr. Andrew K. Resner, M.D., moved into Ronan to practice, Mr. Resner took over operation of the farm and continued until his retirement June 18, 1958, when he also came to Ronan.

He married Eunice Waterman, Ronan, August 11, 1919.

Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Leland Anderson, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Elvis Watters, Fontana, California; and Mrs. Gordon King, Dixon, Montana; six sons, Andrew R., Wallace, Idaho; Bernard R., Long Beach, California; Herbert R., Ronan, Montana; Kenneth N., Missoula, Montana; Carl M. Great Falls, Montana; and Leonard J., Seeley Lake, Montana; two brothers, Herbert A., Los Angeles, California; and Harold R., San Diego California; and 14 grand-children.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Ronan Christian Church with the Rev. Preston Wilkins officiating. Burial will be in the family plot of Mountain View Cemetery, Ronan, Montana, under the direction of Shrider Mortuary.
