MRS. MILO STAMMER
Funeral services for Mrs. Milo Stammer, 53, of Manning, were held on Thursday,
March 1, 1973, at 11 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning. Pastor Edward
F. Heinicke officiated with burial in the Manning Cemetery.
Bernice Stammer, the daughter of J.F. William and Martha Pepper Jahn was born May 6, 1919, in Hayes Township, Crawford County. She attended rural schools near her home and was married on September 5, 1940, to Milo Stammer. They farmed in Hayes Township and lived on the same farm all their married life. Bernice was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, Zion Ladies Aid and the Happy Hour Club. She underwent surgery several weeks ago at the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha and died there suddenly on Monday, February 26, 1973.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Mrs. Melvin Wolfe and Villetta in infancy.
Survivors include her husband, two brothers Hugo Jahn of Manning and Amos Jahn of Adair, and one sister, Mrs. Raymond (Ila) Grimm of Manning. Ohde Funeral Home in Manning was in of arrangements.
