Bernard Puck
August 28, 1913 Manning Monitor

Mr. and Mrs. William and Margaretha Puck were called to mourn the death of their baby boy, Bernard Puck, aged a little over two years, last Monday August 25, 1913. Their son, born April 12, 1911, had diphtheria which developed into pneumonia. An epidemic of the disease came to their home, eight of their family being afflicted at the same time. The body was taken Tuesday to tine Manning Cemetery where the burial took place. The funeral was a private one. The other members of the family are improving but not out of danger. The death of this little boy breaks into one of the largest families of this section. Too, it is doubtful if there is a better raised family. The sorrowing parents can feel that all their friends sympathize keenly with them in their sad affliction.

Bernard Puck is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
Section C Row #18 south - north.
