The body may be viewed after 7 p.m. at the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning. He will be taken to the church at 12:30 Monday. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Nulle was born January 24, 1883, at Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and came to the United States with his parents at the age of three months, settling at Neola. Later they lived on farms southwest of Manning. In 1892, they moved to the farm now operated by their son Fred. Twenty years ago Mr. and Mrs. Nulle moved into Manning. Mrs. Nulle died in July 1960. Since then he has lived at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. George Eschenbacher, Jr.
He had been ill for some time and was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon. He is survived by two sons: Fred of Manning and Harry of Westside; eight grandchildren and one step-grandchild; seven great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Manning. He served
on the rural fire truck committee of Manning Volunteers in 1939 when the first
rural truck was purchased.
