Audrey Lorene, daughter of Leon and Emma (Volquartsen) Cramer, was born September 26, 1926, at Dow City, Iowa. When she was five, Audrey moved with her family to Manning. She attended school in Manning and graduated from Manning High School in 1944. Audrey then worked for Hansen & Bunz Law Firm.

On September 29, 1944, Audrey was united in marriage with LaVerne Olsen at the Lutheran church in Irwin. Two children were born to this couple and they made their home in Manning. Audrey continued to work at the law firm, retiring in the late 1960s. LaVerne died November 17, 2005.

Audrey is a member of Zion Lutheran Church and served as a member of the Altar Guild. Throughout the years, Audrey and LaVerne enjoyed attending card clubs and going dancing. Audrey worked with LaVerne in their apple orchard. She also did a lot of canning and cooking.

On Monday, October 17, 2011, Audrey died at the Manning Plaza Nursing Home in Manning, Iowa. She was eighty-five years of age.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son Steve Olsen in 1976.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Clement and husband Larry of Fort Dodge; a granddaughter Kristi Humpal and husband Jeremy of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; sisters Pauline Graves and Madlyn Younie, both of Manning; sisters-in-law Maxine Browning of Harlan and Gilma Bornholdt and husband Donald of Solon Springs, Wisconsin; and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
